Painted Nomads: Rev. Custodier, Intruder & Moderator

Finally. Managed to finish up a few of these guys after getting base paint on most of them. Enjoyed these a lot and i'm happy with the scheme. I could have gone more detailed with better blending, but i'm ok with their standard. It works for me!

I wrote up some fluff too.

The SynTech Incident

Little was known about the Syntech Corporation, other than they had dealings across the Human Sphere and were believed to be developing technology to combat the Combined Army threat. Their financial backing was unknown, or if they had allegiance to any particular nation.

They negotiated contracts with the Nomad ships, in a series of small scale deals and low profile operations. Their proposed goal was that of better equipping humanity for the bigger war with the Combined Army. So they hired merc teams to retract information from known CA hotspots, and experimented with new biological weaponry. They used many Nomad Missions as a base of operations as well as regular liaisons with Bakunin, Corregidor and Tunguska.

In a sudden chain of events Syntech disappeared almost over night. Bakunin reported several high profile thefts and the disappearance of key specialists. While Tunguska dealt with a mole that would have left its systems vulnerable and in total chaos. Corregidor mourned the sudden loss of several teams in the field, who had been abruptly cut off deep in CA territory. A series of detonations also ravaged a handful of Missions that had SynTech connections.

O12s investigation and subsequent reaction was underwhelming and unsatisfactory for the Nomad nation. Taking matters into their own hands, the 3 ships sent forward operatives to form a team that would be tasked with bringing justice and uncovering what really happened.

This is their story...

  2. Thank you sir! I enjoyed painting these guys, and have a whole bunch of others on the table waiting for highlights.

The fluff is just for fun, but hope to develop it with games and campaign play.
