More new recruits for the Japanese this week, mostly while I wait on my Corregidor boxset to ship. So the Rui Shi remote and Kempetai have seen some paint action. The remote will fill a fast moving role with it's spitfire, but doesn't have great armor so needs cover. It's also packing a visor to catch camo loving enemies off guard.
The Kempetai is there because of Chain of Command, so should my designated Lieutenant fall he will fill the boots without loss of orders. Nice.
Paint wise these continue with the more traditional feel for JSA, with more red denoting faster units, and white covering honorable warrior types.
The Kempeitai is a clandestine and subversive unit that has infiltrated the Nipponese Army of Yu Jing. Their members are diehard nationalists, loyal fanatics to the Japanese Emperor, their symbol of the subjugated Japanese nation. Their ultimate goal is to free Japan from the tyranny of Yu Jing, using any means necessary.
The Rui Shi can carry out different and varied conventional military tasks, such as taking terrain, striking at an enemy’s command and control structure, providing infantry support, locating and destroying hidden threats, or repelling enemy counter-attacks.

Looks like something out of Ghost in the Shell.
ReplyDeletePretty cool.
hi may i have a question? how in the love of god have you glued the rui-shi guns?
ReplyDeletewhatever i glue them with they always break off from as little as touching them.
Hi!
DeleteNo real advice here other than patience, and maybe trying to pin them somewhere. That or simply glue them some place else on the model, like the torso or head? You could also try super glue accelerant, or even greenstuffing them on.
It is a tricky model, and I had similar problems. They certainly didn't stick first time and i've had them come off a few times too. If i ever made another I would probably use the spare spitfire from the Yu Jing spec ops pack and glue it some place solid on the model.
Good luck, hope that helped?!
