Painted JSA - Shinobu Kitsune
The name Shinobu Kitsune does not appear in any archive or database. It is a false name, an alias, a mere identification code. Shinobu Kitsune is not a real person, they does not exist. They are a Ninja. But not a simple stealth assassin, expert in martial arts. They are an Oniwaban.
I painted up Kitsune for a recent ITS Tournament, as her ninja infiltration skills are super handy. It was also the first time I had run my JSA in a tourney. I finished a very respectable 3rd place. Kitsune herself helped me win game 2, recovering after a terrible game 1 which saw her taken out in close combat by a lowly pirate. Such bad rolling there and entirely my fault. But overall she and the JSA were a lot of fun to play.
As she was a last minute addition to my tourney list she possibly didn't get enough love on the painting table. It really is a great mini that I didn't do justice!
However, this is the last of the JSA for a while, despite Aragoto hackers, Asuka and robots being in store for my Japanese. So in the coming weeks i'll be showing more painted terrain, along with a new army - which already has 3 minis painted for it. ;)
More very soon...
