  1. Sad to see these go, but I'm sure your Wu Jing (s/p?) are your #1 faction anyhow. Hope you get what you deserve on that auction as whoever will be their new owner is getting a fine bunch of art.

    1. Thanks Sir! Yes, with a bouncing baby it is hard to get enough hobby time to service three factions. So i've streamlined down to my Nomads and Japanese Sectorial. You were close on the spelling there... its Yu Jing (Japanese are a sub faction of the parent Yu Jing)

    2. I was wondering why you were getting rid of these as well. Baby is a perfectly reasonable and understandable answer. Sad to see you ditch your ALEPH but I'd rather see you stick with Nomads anyway :-)

I did the same (sort of) after my baby girl was born. I trimmed down to only playing WFB, Infinity, and a single 40K faction. That cut about 4 other games, 5x 40k factions, and I even ditched a WFB faction. I've found that I can build up Infinity factions much easier since it only involves 10-15 models usually.

If I had seen this earlier I would have considered bidding. They sold for too little considering it's a built out list of fully painted figures. Sadly, my work blocks E-Bay.

    3. Yeah, they just weren't getting any love, and Operation Icestorm is on it's way too. So more Nomads to paint!

Part of the problem was that so many of the Aleph releases were Greek, and I didn't want to go in that direction. So was playing a sectorial...without any of the bonuses for a sectorial. Plus we know Tunguska will be in the next book, so again Aleph would have been put to the back of the line.

I hear you, my hobby time is about a third of what it used to be, and even getting a single model painted takes a few weeks. BUT my Gecko has it's base colors and inks on, so he's gearing up to be unleashed. Playing games with more than 10-15 guys is now a pipe dream.

Eh, i'm good with the price. A few people have said that, but it's okay. I just love giving people a deal I guess!

  3. Levitas, you do amazing work! How did you get that skin tone? Any chance at a walk through? For that matter what colors did you use over all on the entire models? Also, airbrush or no?
